Die 5-CD-Box "The King Of Rock'n'Roll - The Complete 50´s Masters" von Elvis Presley präsentiert mit 140 Songs die kompletten Studioaufnahmen von der ersten Demoaufnahme aus den Sun Studios bis zu seiner letzten Aufnahme in den 1950er Jahren vor seiner Einberufung zur Army. Die Box wurde erstmals 1992 veröffentlicht und wird nun in der neuen "Bookset"-Serie zu einem besonders attraktiven Preis angeboten. In der Originalversion erhielt die Box für ihre Aufmachung und das erstklassige Remastering eine Grammy-Nominierung in der Kategorie "Bestes historisches Album" - und wurde mit Doppel-Platin ausgezeichnet.

Die ersten vier CDs beinhalten die Masteraufnahmen der 1950er Jahre in chronologischer Reihenfolge. Die fünfte Disc bietet alternative Aufnahmen und Live-Titel. Dazu gibt es ein informatives Booklet mit vielen Fotos und einer Diskografie.
